Shihou Matsuri

Recently, I just finished the whole season of Sola, and I must say, one of the best anime out there. Sola tells a story of a high school student, Morimiya Yorito. He has a hobby of taking pictures of the sky whether it’s during sunrise, middle of the day, or sunset. Every recess at school, he goes to the roof and takes pictures of the sky. He even post posters of the sky in the ceiling of his bedroom so that he can see the sky as he lies down in his room.

One morning, just as he wants to take the picture of sunrise, he sees a girl, Shihou Matsuri, trying to get a drink from a vending machine. The vending machine is kind of old and it didn’t give Matsuri the drink she wants although she put the money in the machine already, and so she kicks it. Yorito becomes interested at this somewhat weird behavior and comes to talk to her. The later unravels between the relationship of these two people, with revelations and plot twists. “It is a story of girls being played with destiny” according to this PV.

Just in case you felt like the music theme is nice, it’s called “colorless wind” by Aira Yuuki. Overall, I would give this anime a 10/10. It’s one of those anime where it leaves you a nostalgic feeling at the end.
