LightPrince’s Take

Considering how the past tekken movie has failed miserably, I had doubts about this upcoming movie. After looking at the trailer, though, I was relieved that they didn’t actually to try make it live action this time. Most things fail as live action, especially when American producers try to make a live-action of Japanese animation. Remember Dragon Ball live-action movie? Worst nightmare for Dragon Ball fans.

This movie is a must see for all the Tekken fans out there. The graphics look decent. And since it is still animated instead of live action, the badass-ness of the characters are retained, i.e. the overly ripped bodies, and hopefully Devil Jin will demonstrate his laser beam and just own everybody. The only concern that I have is whether the movie will be available in the original Japanese dub instead of English dub. We all know that anime is always better in Japanese; it’s just more bad ass. I mean, seriously, imagine Kazuya speaking English in an american accent “let’s kill them!” instead of in Japanese “KOROSUZO!!!”
