Okay, I’ve been procrastinating to write this SOY B report, but oh well. You’ll forgive me right?
I pretty much spent the whole day walking around and taking pictures. This is my first SOY event, and I must say, I was quite disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much after my spectacular AFA09 experience. After all, the budget is much less than AFA.
Before I say anything about AFA 09, I just want to say sorry for this uber late post. Complications arose and I wasn’t able to start this blog until recently. But anyways…
For me, AFA 09 was a bang. On both days, I spent most of the day walking around and checking out booths and taking pics of cosplayers. The exhibition hall is the same as AFA 08 I think, but I felt that this year was more cramped. It was quite difficult to walk around with bumping into someone, which can be good or bad. If you happen to bump onto some cute chick, then hey, you’re in luck. But if you happen to bump onto some fat, smelly guy drooling on a Haruhi towel, then GG lah…
It’s been a long time since I want to just ramble about the anime, manga, and stuff. I was inspired to blog by DarkMirage. I met him several times during AFA09. He’s an awesome guy. For the most part, I will be writing about series that I am following/have completed and my experiences in various anime conventions.
I guess I’ll do a short autobiography: I am an Indonesian, high school student living in a very hot and humid island called Singapore. I’ve been interested in Japan stuff ever since I started reading Doraemon back in 1st grade. The number of series that I follow started with one and gradually grew to forty. From years and years of reading manga and watching anime, my interest in Japanese culture gradually grew. I became interested in everything about Japan, from language to traditions. I have been in various anime conventions such as AFA and EOY (I’ll do a report on AFA09 soon).

Again I’ll say that this blog is under construction. For now, please bear with the simpleness of this blog.
